Sarathy's Idhaya Vaasal Elders' Home
Our Idhaya Vaasal Elder's Home is Sarathy's prolonged wish and it is his brain child. The Home is located in Chennai at Velachery (Check-post), behind the area of Guindy race course.
The Home accomodate both paid and destitue elders. As per his wish the Home prioritise bed ridden elders' at an affordable cost by the family or the care takers. The basic charges collected so as to meet the rent, electricity, food, health and maintenance expenses.

Our pooja room at Home accomodates deities and saints' idols images from all religions.
We celebrate all festivals and memorial days of people from different religions.

Our Donars
The Home is operated as partially paid home also accomodates destituted elders. Presently we meet the rent, EB, and salary through the residents' relatives payments. Seven out of 17 residents are in helpless for any fund supports. Others are paying which is afoordable by thier middle class families.
Eight out of 17 residents are in bed ridden condition. Presently the provisions (grocery, milk, snakes, etc), medicines, adult diapers (napkin pads for bed ridden elders; each costs Rs.35; each bed ridden Resident require 1 or 2 pads a day) and incidental expenses are met only through donations from kind hearts.
Pooja Performed at Home
Elder members of Home feel soul satisfaction by praying Sri Sai Baba at Home. Every Thursday special pooja (apart from daily poojas) with some offerings like sweet and sundals, etc has been performed forming a group.
Jesus Prayers
Some of our elders belong to Christian religion is daily praying thier god by lighting up candles.
Every special pooja by sponsores on thier memorable days were performed with no bar on religions. All gods are their to do good things to the worshipers. Let the benefits of offerings from the almighty may be shared equally by all our family members at Home. May the same would reach the sponsores in the form of devine blessings..
