Spl Food on Spl Days

Special feasts are sponsored by sponsorers and volunteers on their (family's) memorial days like (birth day, anniversaries) and during festivals.

The charges collected special feasts are

Rs.500/- for spl. break-fast

Rs.1,000/- for spl. lunch

Rs.500/- for spl. dinner and

Rs. 2,000/- For a day's 3 times spl. food

They are indeed support to the Home for provision needs for the spl. feast day and for an additional one day. Above charges are not mandatory, BUT any small are big amount are accepted as per the donar convenience.

Elders' Home Requirements

The nobel work of caring the age old peoples has been carried out with the support of donars / sponsorers and volunteers. We welcome your contribution to this Home by any means of support. Let's Join Hands...

The Home is run as partially paid - service home, where the floor rent/ EB / Salary to the care takers are met from the finacial supports from the relatives of some of the elders. All other expenses like food, medicines, maintenance and supplies like milk, gas, adult diapers (sanitory napkins) etc are met throush donations and contribution in the form of materials. Below list is the present requirement of the Home.

Budget: Apart from above provisons (roughly costs 25,000; for total 25 heads), a month's requirement of Home, like milk, gas, adult diapers, medicines, fruits, snacks, flower for pooja, transport, etc would costs roughly around Rs.25,000/- (pl refer Help Us section for details).

Other major expenses met at Home:

Rent - 12,000/-, Salaries - 9,000/-, EB- 6,500/-

As a Total The Home requires appx. 70,000/- as a month's running expense. An amount between Rs. 26,000/- and 30,000/- per month is supported by the residents' relatives who can afford to pay the expenses.

Destituted elders' expenses are met by management only through material sponsorers / donations / special feast hosters.

Many of the months-ends we struggle much with shortage in finance resource (the credit based purchases with medical shops, provisional stores and other supplies help us to over come the difficulties). We are specially thankful to them. At times the medical dues may go beyond Rs.5,000/- (we feel very uneasy at those time facing them for our requirements).
